Back to My Rocketeer Girl on Mars

Few days ago, I saw a news talking about MarsOne. This organization announced the launch of its astronaut selection program in 22nd April 2013. It is a one way trip to Mars. And these people will become the first residents on Mars. The First idea came to my mind at that time was "I should find out how to apply this." "Will they need an illustrator with physical therapy background?" And then, I started to realize that I was too old for this.  I believe there are some people will kill me if I really do this. So, I just can go back to my own Mars project. Hope that one day there will be a group of people really becoming people who come by Rocket. I wish all of you like it! :)

The following is the information of applying to go to Mars:

Poster for USF Women's Volleyball

I went to USF to visit the regular practice of their women's volleyball team last Wednesday. It was so amazing to watch a group of skillful young girls playing volleyball. Their power and movement made me feel that I am really old. Sitting beside the volleyball court reminded the days when I was the physical therapist of the college basketball team in Taiwan.  It was really a good time in my life.

I always love to watch any kind of sports. So I really thank my friend Wes Liao. He offered me this great opportunity to work with USF Women's Volleyball team. I had this chance to design and paint their poster and Facebook fan page cover. I am so glad that it seems all of them love this poster. And I got a poster with all their signatures on it as a gift. Thank you girls~ Wish you have a great season this year! I can't wait to watch your games. :)

The Pendulum Hearts

A pendulum is a weight suspended from a pivot so that it can swing freely. When a pendulum is displaced sideways from its resting equilibrium position, it is subject to a restoring force due to gravity that will accelerate it back toward the equilibrium position. When released, the restoring force combined with the pendulum's mass causes it to oscillate about the equilibrium position, swinging back and forth. The time for one complete cycle, a left swing and a right swing, is called the period. A pendulum swings with a specific period which depends (mainly) on its length.
 ~from WIKIPEDIA~

People's hearts swing like pendulums do. Each heart, hangs above the city with different string of lengths, swings with the direction and period of its own.Sometimes, two hearts just pass by, and leave each other with different speed. On other occasion, while one heart tries to move closer, the other just moves away by acceleration.Only in some very lucky moments, two hearts will meet. But don't forget, if they don't catch each other on time, they will leave each other with maximal acceleration.
