Digital Painting: Final

After seeing all my classmates' digital paintings, it really made me feel frustration. The only thing that comforts me is that someone tells me that this painting is really like my style. After studying here for one and half year, I finally start to paint my own stuff.

Digital Painting: Assignment 1

It is my first time to paint by Photoshop. Actually, it is a kind of experiment of using brushes in it. It is not perfect, but I can accept it as a good try.

There is still some proportion problems in this painting. But I got lots of improvement about using brush in this homework. I have to say sorry to Barry because I made him a little order. Maybe it will be a good portrait after 5~10 years later.....

Actually, master copy is the homework that always makes me feel boring. Because no matter how hard you work on it, it is not your art work. It is always a "copy" from others. (It seems that I won't have lots of time to do my homework slowly in this semester.)

It is a makeup homework for my absence of the first class. (It is because I transfered from the other class) It is Jessie, but I think I just did it so so. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to make it better.

At the last homework of this semester, I tried hard to did my best. I hope that I can paint something really good. At least, I did my self-portrait like myself. Mr Tumatsu said it is a good work, though it still could not win a A- for me in the FA department. It is really not easy to get a good grade in the class of FA. What made me satisfied is that I knew that I learned a lot in this semester.  I am so glade that I can draw with these great classmates. You made me feel frustration and push me to go forward. I feel like I live in my dream everyday.

Insisting on using only Charcoal pencil to draw made me suffer a fiasco. Though the biggest problem of this drawing was bad proportion, using charcoal pencil still caused some damages. Th criticism I heard today was the worst one after I came here to study. I was so angry that I made so many mistakes on this drawing. However, that was a good thing to me. It told me that I still got lots thing to learn. I think that I have to work harder in this semester. 

Chiaro Fall 09：Assignment Final 4-4

Actually, I don't know what I can say about this drawing. Maybe "Finally I finish it!" is a good sentence. It is a combination of what I learn this semester. I am glade that I did it not bad. Thank god gave me this chance to come here and learn. And Thank my teacher Sadie for her teaching. She is really a good teacher. I am happy that I did all my finals well. But there is still a long way to go...

Chiaro Fall 09：Assignment 4-4

I finally finished this painting. Although after few weeks, while I took look at it again, I still can find some flaws in this painting. But I still feel proud of it. After complete rest of the dark place, I found that I really pop out the face of this young girl. It is really a cool thing. I believe that this painting is an important mile stone of my art life. Thanks for Sadie's encouragement to make me keep working hard on this painting....

Though tomorrow is the due date, I still not finish my work. It is lucky that I still have a week to finish this work. Hope I can do it really good.....

I forgot to take picture of my painting this week. I did it well but still made some mistakes.
I must remember that I don' t have to put too much contrast o the shadow part of the painting. It is very important thing to me, and also the mistake that I made it easily.
